Adventures in the Amazon…
Well, sort of. More like, “turning records into CDs!”
One day my husband and I were quite perplexed as to how to turn his collection of over 2,000 vinyl records (including 45s and LPs) into CDs that we could actually use. Sure, you could buy a new CD to replace it, but why? Also, some are not available on CD they are so rare.
So, after fooling with cables, turntables that didn’t work and software that didn’t budge, we turned to our friends in the Amazon.
I remember seeing a turntable with a built-in CD burner. So, we clicked this link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000G835DA?tag=yourcompute02-20&camp
We typed in TEAC GF-350 turntable/CD recorder. We also search for others, but after reading reviews decided to go with this one.
Using your computer to do searches like this on the web and the amazon link shown can save you hundreds of dollars, not to mention a lot of gas and wear & tear on your car.
So, keep this link handy next time you decide to “let your fingers do the surfing!”
